Tony Atkinson explores lessons from historical experience and economic models of inequality. On May 16, 2013 he discusses the long-run development of the generation of inequality of income and wealth in the US and in Europe. Sir Tony Atkinson, previously at Nuffield College, Oxford, worked predominantly on the economics of income distribution, poverty and security, micro-economics, and public economics. The Arrow Lecture Series in Ethics and Leadership is named in honor of Nobel Laureate Kenneth Arrow, an economics professor emeritus from Stanford.
