Skoklosters kyrka Skokloostri kirik Skokloster Abbey Sverige Rootsi Sweden

Skoklosters kyrka / Skokloostri kirik / Skokloster Abbey Sverige / Rootsi / Sweden Skokloster church is a church building in Skokloster parish and parish, Håbo pastorate, Håbo härad in Uppland. It is located 4 kilometers north of Enköping, 4.5 kilometers south of Uppsala, 2 kilometers northwest of Sigtuna. The sock occupies most of the Peninsula in the northern part of Håbo municipality and belongs to Uppsala stift. A nearby Romanesque church at Flasta was built in the first half of the 11th century. When Cistercian Nunnels from Byarum Monastery in Smaland came to Uppland in the 1230s, it was here to Flasta that they first arrived and probably left their contemporary homes in connection with the old church church. The new church in Shoe was probably started in the mid 1200's, and the high altar was inaugurated in the 1280s. In connection with this (maybe 1288?), Probably the nuns in Flasta Church moved over here. The church was planned with six-part arches of the same type as in Lund Cathedral, but was crowned with ribs of crossroads only after a fire at the end of the 13th century. At the same time, stretcher piles were added to the north and south, of which traces are visible on the north outer wall. The Sakristian was established north of the choir, and the current stretches of the West End were built. After completion of the work, the church was reinvented in 1300. At the end of the 1400s, major construction work was undertaken, including the rebuilding and lowering of the southern side ship's vault, and on top of that a vaulted walk was built into a western part of the church. In 1503 the monastery was ravaged by a fire and new construction work was begun again; However, the monastery buildings were never completely completed. After the Reformation, the Church fell due, until Herman Wrangel paid a renovation 1620-1624. The outer roof was made flatter, the southern side ship was converted into a magazine and a rider was built to the west. The altar set and the pulpit belonged to the monastery church in Oliwa, Poland, but were donated to the church of Skokloster by Carl Gustaf Wrangel of Salmis (1613-1676) in 1674. The rooftop rover was removed in the 1730s, when the sterns to the north were added and the northern side ceilings were lowered . A restoration of 1893-1894 under the direction of Emil Langlet, architect, included that the facades were freed from the 18th and 18th century white glue, new entrances were taken to the south and the southern side skirt's upper floor was removed. In addition, the floor was laid in the middle of the longhouse, the bench blocks received wood floors and ornamental paintings on arches and arcades. The church building The church, located on Skofjärden's beach at Skokloster Castle, is one of the most important monuments of Mälardalen's brick churches. It was established as a monastery church for cistercian nuns, but also served as a church church. The monastery buildings are now completely destroyed. At an altitude of about one kilometer northwest of the church lies the ruin after an elder predecessor, the so-called Flasta Wall or Flasta Church Garden, a Romanesque church with a narrower, absidered choir and a West tower. Skokloster church is a wooded basilica in brick, with straight cows of the same width as the middle ship. On the south side of the choir lies the Wrangelian burial cemetery, which was probably completed in 1639. Sakristian is secondarily housed in the eastern part of the northern side ship. The entrance of the church is located in the west. Right next to the southwestern corner of the church stands a bell tower, built in 1743. Equipment Krucifix of oak, pine cross from south-scandinavian workshop in the mid-1200s. Wooden sculpture of hardwood, bishop, workshop in the mallard during the 1400s.
