The wreck of the D. Leuty can be reached by boat (or shore if you're into lengthy swims), and it is conveniently located only 800 feet from the lighthouse by McCarty's Cove. It is a scattered wreck with mostly hull sections to explore, along with the rudder and other scattered debris. The wreck is buoyed during the dive season and can be fully explored on one tank.
