Think the epicness of 30 Seconds to Mars choruses, the catchiness of Linkin Park and the heaviness of Deftones you are pretty close. The guys in Firstborn has been playing together since 2008 in different bands. Firstborn started as an idea back in 2011 when all of the members played together in another band. The songs that had been written since 2010 sounded very different from their other stuff. They decided to start a new band, change name, and just start from zero. They released their debut album in June 2012, with songs that they had been working on for nearly 2 years. After that they've done 1 national Swedish tour and 3 European tours, one as a support act for the now inactive British rockers Paperplane and one co-headline Tour with the Greenlandic post-rock band Small Time Giants. Marking the release and their more matured sound of their EP "Old Machinery" Firstborn hit the road in May 2014 and made their first headline European tour. For 2015, the touring continues in Europe and UK as well as releasing their third record independently.
