Driving in Romania: DN68A E673 & Autostradă A1 E68 from Margina to Deva

In this video you can ride along on DN68A & Autostrada A1 E673 E68 from Margina to Deva in Romania. Starting near the town of Margina, the A1 is still interrupted for about 10-15 kilometers. Together with the missing segments between Sibiu and Pitesti, there are still a few kilometers of A1 missing. This section is currently under construction, as is the transcarpathian section between Sibiu and Pitesti. This particular section is slated for completion sometime around 2026-2027, the transcarpathian section is expected to be completed around the same time. To no surprise these particular sections remain the only ones to be completed, as they are the most challenging and costly to build. For the time being this international corridor goes through a few local towns which is an odd sight.
