The bear did many so called “false charges” to scare the wolf away, but the wolf held on for long before leaving the scene. The last scene of this footage is my favorite one, when the wolf sit in front of the giant predator: it’s not exactly what you expect during these moments, but it’s a way to understand how wildlife behaves and how predators manage the risk/benefit ratio. Filmed in Abruzzo, using an Olympus EM1 mark II camera with Leica 100-400mm telephoto lens.
