The multi-year project included stripping, repairing, and refinishing the Michelotti-designed body, as well reupholstering the interior. The seller acquired the car in 2013 following completion of the restoration, after seeing it at a show in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. The straight-six engine was subsequently rebuilt to 2.5 liters in 2017, and is also equipped with a TR6 cylinder head, performance camshaft, and triple Weber carburetors. Additional features of the car include a T-9 five-speed transmission, aluminum radiator, electronic ignition, chrome wire wheels, high-back seats, and a Nardi steering wheel. Nearly 100 pages of invoices can be viewed in the gallery and outline more than $70k of work carried out since 2008. This GT6 arrived onto Bring a Trailer in June 2020.
