I built two BBQ pit smokers in this video. The guy wanted them extra tall with more standoff between the coal bed and the cooking grates. Instagram: @buchbev Website: www.buchbev.com Dimensions: Smaller pit- 46" high, 24" wide, 19" deep 3/16" thick HR steel (7ga sheet) Base frame height is 10" and the casters add 4.5" so call it 15" to the base of the cook chamber. Base of the cook chamber is insulated with 1" thick ceramic fire blanket. Coal bed to cooking grate height is 23" Cooking grate to lid opening is 5", and cooking grate to top of the lid is 8". Smoke stack is a single 4" square tube, 6" tall. Rough weight estimate is 295lbs Bigger pit- 46" high, 36" wide, 25" deep 3/16" thick HR steel (7ga sheet) Base frame height is 10" and the casters add 4.5" so call it 15" to the base of the cook chamber. Base of the cook chamber is insulated with 1.5" thick ceramic fire blanket. Coal bed to cooking grate height is 23" Cooking grate to lid opening is 5", and cooking grate to top of the lid is 8". Smoke stacks are 4" square tube, 6" tall. Rough weight estimate is 365lbs
