Is That From You, God? | Faith Methodist Church

Whenever something happened to you, have you ever asking God whether this is come from Him or not. ’Is that from you, God?’ maybe you asked. A story written in Acts 2:1-13 told us how the Holy Spirit came during Pentecost where many people saw miraculous things happened. If we think about this in our time now, we might wonder where and how the Holy Spirit works. We might never see or experience such as big scene or supernatural things happened when God thru His Holy Spirit do something. While in reality though, the Holy Spirit is already here with us and in us. But most of the time we kind of ignore him, don’t know what to do with him. This is because often time, we want to see His work with our physical eyes. We forget that most of the time God often does His supernatural in the natural way. Like what Robert Baer said ’Betlehem was God with us ; Calvary was God for us ; and Pentecost was God is us. In order for us to experience the pentecost day (be filled with the Holy Spirit), we need to fully surrender to God, We have to obey Him wholeheartedly. We need to be in sync with Him. Let us then all the time ask God that He will continually fill us with His Spirit so we will be able to obey Him and to do things that bring glory to Him. 👋 Are you new here?
