Gunshots ring out from house in Verviers, Belgium as police carry out anti-terror raid - amateur footage Local residents in Verviers, in the east of the Belgium, reported hearing a fusillade of machine gun shots and explosions on Thursday evening. Amateur video captured from across the street shows smoke coming from a house as shouts and sustained gunfire can be heard. Police have confirmed that the raid was an anti-terror operation following intelligence that an active terror cell was planning an imminent attack. The country's prosecutor said that two people were killed and one injured in the assault.
