It was one incredible sendoff. After packing up and saying goodbye to all of our new friends at Glacier Bible Camp, we headed toward a state we have never even driven through before: Idaho. After a night at a Walmart in Butte, we went to check out Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve, and we were not anticipating just how amazing this park was going to be! The entire park can be seen by driving the Loop Road and pulling off at the parking areas for each feature. All of the parking lots had room for RV parking! So you can explore with a bigger RV attached! From the black, volcanic rock making up various domes to the lava tubes that are now caves you can wander through, Craters of the Moon blew us away. Boy Scout Cave was a bit snug for Jess’ liking! 😬 The hike back over the top of the hardened lava was spectacular. Corey needed to edit and get a video posted, so we left to find some service. This was just another hidden gem that we hadn’t really heard much about and reminded us that we still have so much of this country left to see! Stay tuned for the next episode where we head to Utah!
