This was my 3rd baby/3rd home birth. I had been having contractions through the night but didn't think it was actual labor. I texted my midwife that morning just a heads up that I had been having contractions all night, but I didn't think it was labor. They stopped about 7am. I had someone check me at 12pm and I was 8cm... I was only having light contractions if I would walk or climb stairs, but I felt totally fine. I went to the bathroom after she checked me, and my water broke (12:03pm). Regular contractions started shortly after. My midwife arrived just in time to unpack her things.
