https://www.savvyboater.com/boat-covers - We show you how to easily assemble a Carver boat cover support pole. Step 1. First, make sure you have all the pieces: one 20 inch long 7/8" aluminum tube, one 18 inch long 3/4" aluminum tube with snap, two 18 inch long 3/4" aluminum tubes, one boat vent, and two tube connectors. Step 2. Connect the 20 inch tube to one or more of the 18 inch tubes until you reach your desired height. If you have a connection that requires a snap, use the 18 inch tube with the attached snap. The rubber stopper on the end of the 20 inch tube provides extra stability. Step 3. Disassemble the boat vent by twisting the wing nut counter clockwise off of the thread. Then remove the top and bottom clamps (upper and lower flange). Step 4. Cut out the 2 1/4" circle template you received with your assembly instructions. Use it to trace a circle onto your boat cover where you would like to mount the support pole, and then cut out the hole. Step 5. Re-attach the upper flange to the boat vent. Insert this piece into the hole you created on the top of your boat cover. From underneath, attach the lower flange to the boat vent, lock it into place, and secure it with the wing nut. Step 6.
