Crane Axle’s heavy-duty Dana 80 Axle Assemblies start with a Brand New USA Made Dana 80 Axle Housing that is cast from high-strength nodular iron. They then machine press 4” x ½” (.500”) wall DOM Tubes into that housing for increased strength to resist bending & torsion. From there, the axles are assembled to the chosen specs. In this video, those specs are Magnum C's, Outer Knuckles, OE Spindles, and OE Wheel Hubs. This video shows a timelapse style video of an Assembly going together from raw housing to roller axle ready to ship to the customer.
