Serge and Nathalie Audubert have owned Chateau Laborde since 1996. Their son, Vincent, joined them in 2014. Wines are produced from the appellations Bordeaux white, Bordeaux superior and crémant de Bordeaux. The Château Laborde is located nearby (10 to 20 km) of the great wines of the Gironde (Pomerol, St Emilion, Mountain, Puisseguin, Lussac). Chateau Laborde also holds plots at Lalande de Pomerol, Château Champs de Lalande and Domaine Bois de Laborde. Château Laborde remains more than ever a family farm on a human scale. This is a textbook example of mature Haut-Medoc with notes of blackcurrant, cedar and forest floor. From the celebrated 2010 vintage, it is drinking beautifully and is sure to hit the right note with fans of mature Bordeaux.
