E3D's New Release...& What It Means for 3D Printing

In this video, I talk about the E3D Revo ecosystem and E3D's master plan. Brought to you by PCBWay. Go to https://www.pcbway.com/activity/anniv... and get EXCLUSIVE discounts as they celebrate their 10th anniversary 🎉 (E3D did NOT sponsor this video, but if you would like to support the channel further, please consider using my link: https://jle.vi/e3D) Three years ago, when E3D came out with the first products in their REVO ecosystem, I'll admit that I was ...a little underwhelmed. At the time, they had just two "cold sides," their term for the heatsink, one low-powered "hot side" or ceramic heater, and 4 brass nozzle sizes. Not to mention, the flow was pretty limited, especially in this era of super high-speed printing. But right from the getgo, E3D was very clear: this is the direction their product line is going... Since that initial launch 3 years ago, E3D has been hard at work releasing not just more cold sides, but an entire lineup of accessories - and not just nozzles, either. Quietly, without most people taking notice, Revo has grown to become less of a hot-end standard and more of an entire 3D Printer toolhead ecosystem... with E3D High flow, E3D Obxidian, the E3D roto extruder, and much more... and I think it's worth taking a look at this line of 3D printer upgrades, both to try to understand the direction E3D seems to be taking as a 3D Printing company, and try to figure out what the future might hold. In fact, on that note, even if you know a bit about the REVO ecosystem already, stick around to the end, because I actually got my hands on one of their next generation products, the E3D PZ Probe, which is going to make one of the most popular upgrades out there 100% obsolete. 🤫 Get my custom filament and printer profiles, buyers guides, and much, much more on Patreon:   / thenextlayer    💬 JOIN MY DISCORD: https://jle.vi/tnl-discord 🎥  IN THIS VIDEO:  🎥 00:00 Introduction 01:54 Cold Sides (or Heatsinks) 02:23 Extruders 03:24 Heater Cores 05:13 Nozzles, Nozzles, Nozzles 07:07 Probes (Introducing E3D PZ Probe!) 09:21 The Bigger Picture 13:56 So Is It Time To Upgrade? 🔗 LINKS MENTIONED IN THE VIDEO: 🔗 👉 The RapidChange Revo hotend ecosystem by E3D: https://jle.vi/e3D (affiliate link) 👉 My previous video about Bambu Lab's secret plan:    • Bambu Labs Secret Plan: What the P1P ...   👉 BigTreeTech Panda Revo for Bambu Lab: https://jle.vi/bigtreetech 👉 The Prusa MK4S: https://jle.vi/prusa 🛒 RECOMMENDED GEAR: 🛒 📍 Complete list of 3D Printing accessories: https://kit.co/jlevi/3d-printing 📍 Complete list of my videography gear: https://kit.co/jlevi/content-creation 📍 My favorite 3D printing filament: https://jle.vi/polymaker 📍 My favorite 3D printer right now: https://jle.vi/voronkits 📍 My favorite BUDGET 3D printer right now: https://jle.vi/sovol 📍 Check out the official TNL merch: https://shop.thenextlayer.com/ 📍 PLEASE CONSIDER SUPPORTING THE CHANNEL BY SHOPPING USING MY LINKS!
