Fantasy Ballade (Piano Solo piece with score), Fred Broer, composer

This video is a recording of a digital performance of Fantasy Ballade, a piano piece composed by Fred Broer in July of 2024. The sheet music score is shown with the performance. The music contains elements of "fantasy" with its volatile shifts of character and mood, and it reflects characteristics of a "Ballade"with its dramatic narrative sweep, which begins with urgent forcefulness, then passes through varied states of emotional frustration, tension and struggle that are finally subjugated at the end with a peaceful environment of tranquility and spiritual transcendence.
