We arrive in Santa Marta, Colombia to stay at the Santa Marta Playa Dormida Marriott Resort. We had planned a 2 night stay paying only $141 per night. Before we arrived, we got upgraded to the Oceanfront 1 Bedroom Suite, which are the best on the property. Fully equipped with 2 restaurants, gym, swimming pool and spa. It was such a great 2 night stay. There were a few things that could potentially make the stay even better. 1. Since it was so far away from everything, they should have a shuttle that can take you downtown or a mall of sorts. 2. The TV is huge and great, but it would have been nice that it can swivel so that we can double up viewing in the bedroom and living room. 3. The TV and WIFI were both very spotty and was unusable. Nonetheless, the space was absolutely stunning and we had a balcony to DIE FOR.
