A Tour of the Vedic Cosmos (Puranic Hindu cosmology)

Most of this video was the first part of a much longer video I made for a Vedic Cosmology conference which took place in Gainesville, Florida in November 2023. It was organised by the Bhaktivedanta Institute for Higher Studies (BIHS). This video is a quick tour, a summary if you like, of the Vedic Cosmos. Beginning with the spiritual world, Vaikuntha, it goes on to describe the roles of the Vishnu forms and the material world. We learn about the millions of brahmandas - - separate egg-shaped separate universes. The brahmanada we inhabit is divided into 14 planetary divisions, and a horizontal disc lies in the middle, called bhu-mandala The sizes of concentric rings of the bhu-mandala is compared to this solar system, up to the geo-centric orbit of Uranus.
