Husky 592xp, Nice Fir, And A Deere Hydraulic Assist

Filmed in January, 2021. Here we have the 4th tree I had cut down with this saw. Noting in the beginning that cousin Gary found the water line that was supplying the house. OOOPPPSSSS!!!! No worries, it was old hat for the landowners as he "handled it" with ease. So,,, no one outside of engineering knew what it was displacement wise.... At least at this juncture. The preceding three 592xp videos have some qualifying information in the description areas. I would suggest taking a look at those. Around the 2 minute mark it bogged a little. It was fairly cool on this morning. I had noticed it was a bit hard to start when cold. I imagine that was courtesy of the raw air injection, aka stratified, design this engine utilizes. From ~ 3 to just under the 4 minute time span we see the stalls in the diagonal or bias cut. Yadda yadda. Have a looksee at 3:57 as the bore cut starts. Plenty of chatter as the bar gets buried. Indicative of an aggressive chain - either teeth angles, raker depth, or a combination of them both. At 4:45 we see the chain grab and suck the powerhead into the bole. This further exemplifies what is stated in the previous sentence. It also substantiates the "this saw has a lot of power" comments. At ~ 6:00 a little misalignment in the kerf attitude on the two "pokes" I took at the bias cut for the face. No one here ever said anywhere out there that they were perfect... We see ~ 6:10 there is a nice gap at the hinge. At 6:30 we can see it is open a bit more on the side opposite the lean & limb weight. Around 7:25 taking a second sighting on the gun. Anywhere while I'm adjusting the face or getting the corners of the backcut finalized you can tell this saw has "Insta- RRRs". Around the 10:50 mark I'm guessing about the actual displacement the "it would be nice if it was around 92 or 94 cc". Turns out, it is 92.66cc. The "on the stump" chattery chain was taking names with the limbing & bucking. Some discussion on the grade aspect and where the tree should get bucked was also involved - back to the Phellinus comment I made looking at the butt of this tree. ~ 18:05 I'm giving Gary the throttle blasts trying to get his attention. He's always been a little bit of the head down wide open kinda guy... At 18:11 I took a survey on how & how much the logs would move when the buck was finished. Noticing the big limbs in the top and the maybe 18"drop of the top log I proceeded. Low & behold at 18:25 we notice that Gary never missed a beat. So, God was smiling on me there. At the end, I'm talking about the horsepower king concept. Now of course the 880 & 3120 have more outright "power". I was coming at this from the place of an everyday work saw in the current conditions (timber size) for the PNW. At the time of your viewing this, I may, or may not, be immediately available for custom saw modifications. I am booked out several months regularly. Sometimes I'm out in the bush - making the world a safer place, one stump at a time. If you are interested in having a saw zipped, please shoot me an email. That is the best, first point of contact.
