This 10-kilometre round-trip hike takes you past three stunning turquoise lakes — Lower, Middle, and Upper Joffre — all fed by glacial melt. The trail is moderately challenging, with rewarding views at every turn. Towering above the upper lake is Matier Glacier, a breathtaking ice mass clinging to the mountain peaks. While most hikers stop at Upper Joffre Lake, the glacier itself lies just beyond, accessible with a bit more effort and elevation.
