These Haunted Places: The Town Of Valles Mines

Welcome back to this chronicle of the spooky and forgotten places that exist between the past and present. And Happy Autumn! In this episode, I visit the town of Valles (Val-ee's) Mines, Missouri, one of the oldest settlements in the US and home of the oldest mining corporation. A lot of what I will say in the beginning portion of the video is inaccurate and based on Internet research. However, stay tuned at the end if you want to listen to me ramble about what I learned during the experience. Valles Mines is a treasure trove of US history. There is a museum here of "lost history" that is curated by the Superintendent, Mr. Steve Frazier (featured in the video).
