Knowing how to properly throw is an essential skill all softball players must learn. “Throwing is arguably the most important part of the game,” says former collegiate softball player Raianna Dobbs. “Having proper footwork and arm action can lead to stronger, more accurate throws.” Throwing a softball begins with the proper footwork. Step toward your target while turning your hips and shoulders, transferring your weight forward.
