They are also alleged to have threatened to set a coaching institute on fire by pouring petrol if the money wasn't paid. These accusations were made by Vivek Kumar, the owner of the coaching institute Exampur. Based on the CCTV footage, the police arrested two boys. However, supporters of these boys claim they had only gone to the institute to request a fee refund for a student who had been waiting for quite some time. The student's uncle had filed a complaint on July 3rd at the George Town police station in Prayagraj, but the complaint was against the owner of Cadet Point Defence Academy, not Exampur.
