The video commences, alongside Roe Highway, Midland. Where helper block trucks are hitched up to the heavy oversize loads at 8.5 mtrs wide. The Komatsu mining dump trucks are nearly complete, except for the 'tubs More locations on Great Northern Highway, at Stock Road Roundabout, Bullsbrook. And just out from Muchea. There was problems with the lead truck on the second load. Kenworth T909 tri-drive #PM 414. It had to be removed. The first load, with SR Coyne Contracting Mack Titan as helper Pull truck. For the C509, #PM1000. Continued onto Chittering Roadhouse, with Traffic Escort Warden & pilots. Bit of unhooking, with SR Coyne Contracting Mack, removed and parked up. Whilst #PM1000, returned bobtail back to hook up to the second load with the Komatsu Mining dump truck. And move that up to the Roadhouse also. I wasn't around at the time, when Centurion Transport, arranged for replacement truck. Which was Kenworth C509 tri-drive #PM1088. So not sure how, #PM414 was taken back to Perth. All I noticed was steam or smoke coming from under the bonnet, earlier as I passed them. The next video locations were, just north of Chittering Roadhouse, down hill on the overtaking lanes. Bindoon Hill of course!😃 And at Little Bindoon Hill, near Spillman Road. Rain was a nuisance! Saturday 31 August 2024.
