So a package arrived the other day, and I was really excited because I wanted to do my next video on the contents of that package... ...however, it turns out that practically everyone in Australia for hobby-stuff uses the same distributor! So what arrived was instead...Kobold Press' "Tales of the Valiant" Players Guide and Monster Vault! So I backed this when it was announced, because I had/have all of Kobold Press' Monster books (Tome of Beasts 1 & 2, and Creature Codex...don't have ToB3 yet, because I can't afford to drop $110AUD on a single BOOK!), and Iv been wanting to get their Tome of Heroes book since I heard about it! Basically, big fan of KP's stuff. And, well... The Kobolds hit it out of the park! ToV is practically everything I wanted and expected from a team of game designers familiar with the 5E d20 System. Now, I may be saying that because their Mechanist is EVERYTHING the Artificer in WotC's 5E should have been, if they didn't turn the class into a "Fantasy Ironman knockoff"...honestly, how limiting is that?!
