In this video I'll be demonstrating how I painted this lovely peaceful sunset scene. Equipment list: I'm using some lovely 100% cotton Arches watercolour paper today, it's a smallish block measuring 18cm x 26cm or 7 inches x 10 inches. The paper is 300gsm or 140lb weight. The colours I'll be using are: Raw Sienna, Alizarin Crimson Hue, Ultramarine, Neutral Tint, and some White Gouache. The brushes I use today are a large Daler Rowney Aquafine Skyflow flat 2 inch wash brush; an Escoda Ultimo synthetic mop brush size 10; a Princeton Neptune small round brush size 4; a Winsor & Newton Cotman 19mm One Stroke flat brush; and a Pro Arte synthetic Sword liner size Small.
