Trying a different method. Once again, I take advantage of a phenomenon known as "weakness stacking". If you cast 100% weakness to magic on an enemy, spells will be twice as effective against them. If you cast the same spell on them again, nothing will happen except the duration will be refreshed, becase it's the same spell. If you have 2 different spells with 100% weakness to magic, you can alternate between the 2 spells to make your spells exponentially more effective. Here's how it works: Base spell effectiveness: 100% 1st cast: 100% + base (total 200% multiplier; 2x effectiveness) 2nd cast: 100% + 200% + base (total 400% mult; 4x effectiveness) 3rd cast: 200% + 400% + base (total 700% mult; 7x effectiveness) 4th cast: 400% + 700% + base (total 1200% mult; 12x effectiveness) 5th cast: 700% + 1200% + base (total 2000% mult; 20x effectiveness) Given that fatigue regenerates at a rate of 10 per second, 43 is the amount of casts I calculated to be required in order to drain enough fatigue to put an NPC into a coma for over ten thousand years. The actual number is 11,087 years, or precisely 348,678,440,100 seconds. This time, after waiting elsewhere for a week, the NPC vanished from my basement and I found him passed out on the floor outside the blacksmith's shop. I waited another week and found him comatose next to his bed. I guess the next logical step is to do this to every citizen in Anvil.
