Now that we have our saw mill barn foundation poured, we can start milling lumber. First up is a tulip poplar. It has beautiful flowers that resemble tulips that only grow after 10-15 years and the interior wood is absolutely beautiful. Next up is an ugly cedar tree. We have a few issues with this one. First, We dull a blade on log stops, and then we don't tighten it properly, and lose a 4x4. We'll learn more as we go. Sawing rough cut lumber is quite the process.
