In this video I will show you the guaranteed method on how to fix the Nintendo 2dsXL’s black screen of death! In other words, I will show you how to fix your 2dsXL when the screens won’t turn on and only the blue LED is on. It seems like this is a very common problem online so I decided to make a video showing how to fix it, because all the other videos on it often require opening up your console. In this tutorial, we will be able to fix this 2dsXL without having to open up the console and we can do this by using a process called Safe Mode. Here’s a warning though, if your handheld does not work after watching this video and after numerous tries, you may have a different problem. And also, a thing to note is that I’m not sure if you have to do everything exactly as I did in this video to get it to work, that’s just how I got it to work. It may be different with your 2dsXL, so try different things at your own risk. Thank you for watching! Charge your battery to 100% (You can tell if it's at 100 when the orange LED is off) 2. Enter safe mode (Explanation: 3:23, Example: 4:35) 3. Ok, stop here. Did it work? "Yes!" Okay you're done! "No!" Okay go on to step 4. 4. Perform a battery reset (Explanation: 2:45) 5. Repeat step 2 then go on to step 6 (Unless it worked) 6. Okay so it didn't work again, but keep the system on. So now what you have to do is turn OFF the system using the safe mode button combination 7. Turn it back on using safe mode 8. If this still doesn't work for you, repeat step 6 and 7 a few times until it works 9. If it STILL hasn't worked after a few times of trying, repeat step 4 and then try Safe Mode again 10. If this doesn't work for you after all of these, your 2dsXL may either be bricked or has a different problem. If it has worked, please let me know! :)
