I've had many requests for my Palestinian Muajannat (savory pie) recipe, and today we'll be diving in, starting with the dough that makes it all happen... through trial and error, this recipe came to be, and it has never failed me, even when I've made little mistakes with it. With this, you can make endless savory stuffed pies and mini-pizzas. Over the next few weeks, I'll be sharing three classic Palestinian pies that are a big hit in my family's house. I hope you enjoy, and let me know if you make this, I'm so excited for your results. ___ Dough: enough to make ~12 10cm round pies (or make some spinach turnovers, or make them into lil pizzas too, great for snacks on the go!) 2.5 cups bread/strong flour 1 cup unbleached all purpose flour 1 tablespoon salt 1.5 tablespoons sugar 1 tablespoon dry milk powder or liquid milk (if you use a liquid milk, you'll use less water. You can also omit this ingredient, but it does add a nice texture/taste.
