The Battle Cats - SOL Idi:Re Invasion (Eldritch Forces) 4 star ☆

The true ending to the SOL story is here. The real final boss of the story is Idi: Re, a relic enemy with 3,333,333 million HP and 99,999 dmg, with strengthen by 100% at 50% HP, curse, and Omni strike. Idi:Re and this stage as a whole in my opinion is a great ender to the long-lasted story of SOL, and it proves to be a challenging yet very fun stage/boss to face. I will go on with my version of a guide for the stage, but I highly advise you to check other guides or other people who beat this stage if you require a proper guide as my run of this had very bad timings, bad money management, and much more poor performance in gameplay. However, with that being said here is the general run down. First, let's be real, despite Idi:Re being the main threat of this lv, the peons are what add the challenge to this stage. Idi:Re in itself has a decent timer between attacks, and by exploiting Naga Cats freeze, we can easily CC chain it and lessen its attack frequency whilst having more time to dish out damage on it. For our meatshields, we have Ramen and L'il Eraser Cat, with the help of a research combo M and Defence Combo M. These combos help with spamming the meatshields rapidly, whilst also adding more def to tank hits from the peons (I used cheating heart combo, but you can just use the boney bone combo as a replacement). If you do not have that high level on both of these guys, I highly recommend you take the combos out and add more cheap meatshields as it's generally more helpful that way. Now onto the peons, there are a total of four other enemies on the stage other than Idi, them being Relic Doge, Angelic Hippo, Black Gory, and Imperator Sael at a decent increase in stat magnification. Relic doges are not an issue, basic meatshields and other cats can easily deal with them. The same can honestly be said with the Angelic Hippo, especially if you bring Ramen Cat to the stage who will be more than enough to take it down. The issues come from Black Gory and Imperator Sael who assist Idi heavily in taking our meatshields down, making quick work of our Naga Cat stack, and eventually destroying our base. For the Black Gory, the best option is to use Assassin Bear, who will be able to take them out in 2 hits. Imperator Sael has little to no options, which is why in my case, I use Cameraman Cat, who can not only have a chance to survive from Idi hits but just generally deals a ton of damage as a stack to slowly take the peons down. Alternatives for Cameraman include Cat Tarzan, Paris Cat, Crimson Mina, Courier, or possibly anything else that naturally deals a lot of damage with trait buffs (I highly recommend Paris Cat, as she outranges Idi's Omnistrike). Rock Cat is extremely effective in this stage when timed right and in sync with Idi's attack buffer, where you can completely nullify its attacks from hitting your meatshields or your backline CC/snipers (I suck at timing them unfortunately). However, I used Rock Cat more so as a natural meatshield for the peons to increase the chance of my Cameraman Stack taking them down quicker. A very well-timed Slime/Jellyfish Cat in sync with the thunderbolt cannon can not only deal tons of damage to Idi but will also allow you to clear the peons much quicker. Finally, take note that money is an issue in this stage, if you're an idiot like me and not conservative with it. By multi-killing the peons whilst spamming less stuff during non-peon waves, you can slowly stack your money to a reliable amount for the peons so, don't be like me and panic spam all throughout the stage... Cat Levels: Ramen Cat Lv45+22 + def talent 10 (A bit boosted but it's doable with Lv40s) L'il Eraser Cat Lv 45 + 7 Assassin Bear Cat Lv 45 (Need at least lv44 to tank 1 Gory hit) Jellyfish Cat Lv 40 (Lv 30 is fine, but a higher level is significantly helpful) Naga Cat Lv 30 Rock Cat Lv 30 Cameraman Cat Lv 45 + 15 + Survive Talent + Atk Talent 10 + Crit Talent (I highly highly recommend at least max survive talents if using Cameraman Cat) Other unused cats are for cat combos. Songs Used: Tsukasa Saitoh - The Final Battle (Ost from the game "Elden Ring") Dario Marianelli - Knives and Bullets (And Cannons too) (Ost from the movie "V for Vendetta") The Battle Cats x Annihilation City (Shoumetsu Toshi) Collab BGM/OST (Piano Ver)
