This medication does not have the abuse potential that you see with stimulants like Amphetamines (Adderall, Vyvanse) or Methylphenidates (Ritalin, Concerta) and it is not controlled. With that said, it may be a safer option than many ADHD medications, and can be surprisingly effective.
