Watch the beautiful arrival Of Asantehene Otumfour Osei Tutu’s Historic visit to Ogua Cape Coast

Two Overloads in one video The historical visit of his royal majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II to Oguaamanhene to his majesty Osabarima Akwasi Atta II in the city of Cape Coast, central region of Ghana Osaberima Kwesi Atta II welcomes his brother from across the Pra, Nana Osei Tutu II (Asantehen) officially to Cape Coast and for this year's Fetu Afahye Celebrations. Both monarchs are celebrating 25 years on their respective thrones and have both been conferred honorary doctorate degrees this year as well by the University of Cape Coast. Otumfuo Osei Tutu II is the monarch of Kumasi as well as the overlord of all other Asante towns and provinces. Kumasi was an important trading town between the northern parts of Ghana to the south in precolonial times but its importance is seen more today as the second largest city in Ghana. It became a British protectorate in 1874 and a colony in 1901. Cape Coast on the other hand, was one of the most important trading towns in Africa during precolonial times and became the official seat of the Gold Coast colonial administration for 3 years (1874-1877) before moving to Accra due to Fante Confederacy resistance to colonialism. Today, Cape Coast is regarded as one of the world's most historic cities. Asante and Oguaa's relationship has been mixed (bitter and sweet); times of peace and trade existed sometimes and wars between the then Empire and this Fante city state sometimes, also ensued. Today, both cities express solidarity and foresight as one nation once divided into various kingdoms, having now come together to forge something great called Ghana. May your stay be filled with excitement and fulfillment
