Ancona Walking Tour In this video we walked the streets of the city of Ancona, an Italian city of almost 100.000 inhabitants, capital of the homonymous province and of the Marche Region. The city of Ancona rises on the coast of the Adriatic Sea on a promontory on the northern slopes of Mount Conero. From this promontory originates a gulf in the inner part of which is the well-known port of Ancona. The tour started from the Duomo of Ancona, a medieval church (dedicated to San Ciriaco), which stands at the top of Guasco Hill. From there, we headed to Piazza del Plebiscito (also known as Piazza del Papa). After walking in Piazza del Plebiscito we headed towards another square, Piazza della Repubblica and from there, passing through Corso Garibaldi, we arrived at Piazza Cavour where the tour ended.
