I've always thought that the best amps and gear came out in the 80's. Sure there were flaws and nuances associated but it all seemed to translate into iconic tones that we all crave to this day. The Furman PQ3 parametric eq is one of those classic obsolete pieces of gear that was used on countless albums in the 80's but it was Dimebag who made it legendary. The guys at Master Effects have got hold of an original PQ3 and managed to clone it into a stomp size pedal with all the fidelity and nuances of the original. I think it's so cool that Dime's legacy lives on and my hat is off to Tim at Master Effects for being so passionate about it! To install them on your katana mkii, the easiest way is to drag the downloaded files to your desktop. Open up the tone studio with your katana connected and go to the top right corner and click the down arrow.
