Am 15. Januar 2019 fand eine kritische Würdigung des umstrittenen Chemikers Fritz Haber statt. Fritz Haber ist einerseits gefeierter Erfinder des Kunstdüngers, andererseits moralisch verurteilter Wegbereiter von Gas als Massenvernichtungswaffe. Im Rahmen dieser Würdigung hielt Prof. Dr. Bretislav Friedrich vom Institut für Molekulare Physik des Fritz-Haber-Instituts der Max-Planck-Gesellschaft Berlin, seinen Vortrag „Fritz Haber at 150: The unfolding views of and on a German Jewish Patriot“.
