Now this is a funky MIDI, not really metal though. it sounds more like... melodic rock maybe? idk, it sounds nice though. and there's nothing more MIDI than them chords, damn. Also I think I'm starting to get back into the swing with YouTube videos. don't trust me on that though, I'm probably gonna jinx myself. (also I'm gonna make it so that the thumbnails don't default to Android phone (idk why but it chooses that) (VHS effect rendered using NTSCqt)) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Devices (with timestamps): 00:00 Windows (Roland GS Wavetable Synth) Again, very basic but what happened to the drums 02:06 SoundBlaster 16 (Yamaha YMF262 (OPL3)) This is pretty good for FM and unlike the Roland GS, drums are here. bit of a shame that FM drums are weak 04:12 Roland MT-32 (x2) Again with the limited partials, patches are good but feel a bit empty 06:18 Falcosoft Midi Player 6 (Bass SF2) Badaboom, Modern software takes the cake for PC related devices, sounds proper. the chorus effect just works. 08:24 Motorola G8 Power Lite (Android with stock sound engine (SONiVOX EAS)) guitars are lacking, everything else is good (the sawtooth synth though, oh man does it fit) 10:29 iPod Video (5.5th gen Classic) with custom firmware (Rockbox) A bit loud on the mids and interpolation on the overdriven guitar does not play well at low notes. drums are good though 12:34 Yamaha PSR-E323 (YPT-320) hmmmmmmm its okay, if the lead synth didn't just drop off almost immediately after the note was played then it would be better. also the bass, just can't get enough of it so let's amplify it by 200% ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Links/socials: Twitter:   / boycraft18462   Discord: Boycraft18462 (hash number: 9112) Tiktok:   / boycraft18462   playlist with other videos of this series:    • MIDI sequences Played on Different MI...
