In the backroom of a comic shop, on new comic book day, two idiots sit around talking about movies, toys, and comics... and sometimes we film those things. Other times, we do it without cameras. In this instance, Toast asks Wilson about not buying toys after Toast looks around at the questionable purchases he's made. Wilson thinks he's for sure going to stop this time, and we 80% believe him. I'm told this video made people sad. Long-term toy reviews talking about not buying toys does seem to create an issue, but we're three idiots, baby! Berg's still buying and Toast is just trying to buy smarter not... harder? That sentence fell apart. Look, the sad reality is there are infinite toys but finite space. And knowing is half the battle. I do wonder sometimes -- as I once again slip into first-person -- if our use of "idiot" hampers us in the almighty algorithm's eye. I could probably find out, and maybe someday I will.
