A run that makes me very happy! The biggest failure in it was in stage 5 - Orins fight, specifically, where I got hit 4 times. I got hit a total of 6 times (Once Satori because I blundered, and once on Utsuhos final spellcard, which is to be expected, as I have literally never cleared it (but could have bombed through it tbh)) and ACTUALLY MANAGED to no-miss Utsuho's Hell and Heaven WITH ZERO POWER. Possibly one of my greatest Touhou achievements considering that I clear that spellcard 1 in 20 times on average WITH FULL POWER and I managed to fluke it with zero. I still can't get over it despite the fact that this was almost two days ago now. Anyway, point of this session was to get a 1cc with more than 7000 graze, which went pretty well (9575 in the end)! I picked up 2 or 3 small tricks for the early stages on how to get lots of graze (Yamame's final spellcard and those curving bullets at the start) and that boosted my graze counter up quite a bit. I also realised I could do something similar with one of Orin's midboss attacks, but I was a bit too panicked with how well it was going to throw myself "off the rythm", so to say. I'm thinking of playing the game a bit more intensively soon so that I can get a higher score, and one of the main "points of profit" would be not getting hit at all, because every time you get hit, your point score addition from green score items disappears and gets reset to 0 (= pointvalue is 50k). If I graze more then towards stage 6 or so I assume I would have more than 100k point item value combined with a x2 modifier when the graze bar is filled, which would be pretty insane. My main idea currently would be to watch some replays of people who get massive scores to see what they do, or maybe just fighting the bosses of stages for longer to get more graze, because I assume more graze is more "valuable" than spell card clear bonuses, especially since I don't get them half the time KEK.
