Extract mean values in Star-CCM+

This is a simple way to obtain the mean filed in Star-CCM+. Star-CCM has an internal monitor to allow for simple access to mean flow fields (velocity, pressure, temperature, etc.)Basic steps: 1. Click the right button on "Monitors" -- "New monitor" and select the appropriate item from the list, in this case, "Mean Filed." 2. Go to newly created monitor and select relevant "part" and "filed function." 3. After these steps, a new field function will appear in the filed function list with the name "Mean of *****." (In this video "Mean of Velocity: Magnitude") !!!Remember!!!: One has to make sure that you are averaging over the correct time window where flow could be considered as "periodic" and all initial "transients" are over. This simulation has no scientific meaning and creates to explain the mean filed only. So, mesh, time step, and etc. are not correct.
