So I am no electrician for sure - so much so that I needed to search on line what might be the best way to clean corrosion off of copper electrical connections. My GPS fish finder was corroded so bad that It wouldn't even work. I found a formula that contained some ordinary household chemicals and I decided to give it a try. It worked beautifully. The copper connections look as good as new. I cannot vouch for whether or not this is a preferred method or if there are any negative side effects. I just not my copper connections look like copper again.
