3 Ingredient Ube Ice Cream | Cuisinart ICE-21P1 Ice Cream Maker

How to make ube ice cream with just 3 ingredients. Since I first bought this at Trader Joe’s I’ve been wanting to try to make it at home myself. This easy recipe only requires 3 ingredients and easy to make at home. I will be making it in the Cuisinart ICE-21P1 Ice Cream Maker although I’ll include instructions for without an ice cream maker as well. Ingredient Heavy whipping cream 2 cups (450ml) Sweetened condensed milk (400ml) Ube extract (4 teaspoons, ~20ml) Instructions (w/ ice cream maker): Freeze ice cream maker bowl for at least 10 hours overnight Combine heavy whipping cream, condensed milk, and ube extract. Mix and refrigerate for 2 hours. Pour mixture into ice cream machine and let it churn for about 30 minutes. Actual time will vary. Once it is done, the ice cream will be a soft serve texture and you can eat it as is. You can also freeze it for another 6 hours so it can harden up. Instructions (no ice cream maker): Whip heavy cream to form a soft peak Add condense milk and ube extract and whip again until you get soft peaks. Spread over a container and freeze for 6 hours.
