#Canada #India #Modi Amid heightened diplomatic tensions between Canada & India, PM Modi hits out at the Trudeau regime over for the attack by Khalistani groups outside a temple in Brampton where a consular camp was being held. In a message on social media platform X, formerly Twitter, Modi condemned the attack and the intimidation of Indian diplomats and said India would not be "cowed down". The attack is being seen against the backdrop of a brazen threat by Khalistani Gurpatwant Pannun against Diwali celebrations. Pannun was the lawyer for another Khalistani, Hardeep Singh Nijjar who was killed in 2023. Canada has blamed India for his killing, India has called the claim preposterous. Simultaneously the US has alleged that a former RAW official was involved in a plot to take out Pannun. India is investigating that claim. Pannun has released multiple videos threatening the "balkanization" of India. He has warned people not to travel on specific Air India routes amid more than 300 bomb hoax threats to Indian Airlines.
