We followed the route from "Climb Glacier - Vol 3" by Blake Passmore. This was our third attempt at this scramble. Passmore describes this ascent as "arduous, as as a day climb, challenging if spending the night at the chalet or campground. Not a technical climb but requires an above average amount of tenacity to hike the distance to the start of the climb, as well as deal with the scree above the diorite sill." Start time: 6:30am (Granite Park Chalet), End time: 8:00pm (The Loop) Total Distance: ~15.5 miles Total Gain: ~4,700 feet Elevation: 9,146 feet Bucket list climb.
