So the 'sad piano' version of this is gallifrey is the most viewed video on my channel for some reason. I'm really not very proud of it. For the most part it sounds like garbage and I've been meaning to 'remaster' it for a while now. I started working on the remastered piano cover but I was really struggling and was going to need to tear the whole thing up to redo it. I've been doing the minecraft guitar covers by blending recordings of my guitar playing with a VST and then layering the different tracks from my various recordings. This does screw up the recording audio because it's all being run through the VST but it's really helpful for me to quickly make these videos to a reasonable quality. It means that I don't have to program things like attack and dynamics and sequencing which is half the battle. Anyway, I doubt this will get as many views as the original. Quite frankly I don't care. I am embarrassed by the quality of the original and this gives me peace of mind that there is a somewhat decent version of this on my channel. The only reason the original is still on my channel is because I want to document my progress and it will be useful to look back on. I do not own This Is Gallifrey. It is a piece by Murray Gold written for Doctor Who which is owned by the BBC. I own nothing. This is a personal fan project. I do not and will not financially benefit from this. That is not the point. It is unfair for me to profit from Murray Gold's work. That will not happen. #doctorwho
