In this video I rehouse my friends Sovtek Russian Big Muff, and add a True-Bypass footswitch, a Mids Control, and a Tone-Bypass switch. I also replace all the factory pots with more common contemporary ones. It's not as hard as you think, but information and guides seem scarce. Here are the replacement-component values I used, which seemed to work very well: C8: 1500pF C9: 0.015𝛍F R5: 3.3k R8: 470k Here's a link to the diagram I drew to perform the work: https://i.imgur.com/bqFo3bc.jpeg Before you roast me for rehousing my Green Russian, it had already been rehoused and TB'd in a Black Russian box when I bought it, so it had already been soiled - I might have thought twice if it still had its Green box. I know I reference a video with sound clips, but I'm not sure it will turn out good enough to include here, and after sending this guide to someone privately who wanted help, it seems silly to sit on this video just because the demo isn't ready.
