I found the Blackland Vector to be a quite effective shave at a medium/high level; it is only my third shave with this razor - so please keep this caveat in mind, but 7/10, for effectiveness seems about right. It is a stunning design and a beautifully weighted and balanced razor. The shaving soap today, is '45th Parallel' from Captain's Choice. This is a lovely vanilla cherry scent, to my nose, I don't really pick up the almond scent. It is a very nice, good quality soap.
