龜吼原本是新北萬里區一個純樸寧靜的小漁村，居民多以捕魚為業，漁人們將魚貨直接在漁港旁卸貨拍賣，也讓龜吼漁港逐漸成為一個魚市集，街上並有幾間餐廳，立即可以料理最新鮮的魚貨食材。 隨著萬里蟹逐漸打響名號，龜吼漁港也在萬里蟹的加持下湧現大量人潮，2015年，原有的攤商重新規劃整合後成立「漁夫市集」，現場魚貨量充足，環境也變得更整潔，更成為遊客造訪龜吼必走逛的地點。 在漁夫市集內，有當季各式的新鮮魚貨，特別是當地招牌的萬里蟹更是攤商必備。現場並有代客料理的攤商，遊客挑選好魚貨後，馬上就能品嚐最青的海鮮滋味。另外，還有部分的乾貨、飲料等攤商，吃喝採買一次滿足。 Guihou was originally a rustic and quiet fishing village in Wanli District, New Taipei City.
