Served for 2 to 4 people 😊 Babi kecap is called ‘Be Celeng Mebase Manis’ here in Bali. This is one of the ‘must have’ dishes at a Balinese wedding reception. The taste is sweet and mildly spicy. Always good served with rice and lawar (Balinese jackfruit salad) 😊 Happy cooking🥰 Ingredients: 800 gr pork shoulder 10 pcs shallots 8 pcs garlic 7 bali hot peppers or birds eye chillies 10 gr ginger 2 gr galangal 2 tbsp vegetable oil 3 pcs star anise 1 pcs (3 cm) cinnamon stick 4 tbsp sweet soy sauce (kecap manis) 1 tbsp salty soy sauce 800 ml chicken stock A pinch of black pepper corn 1/4 tsp salt For the garnish 2 pcs kaffir lime leaves 1 big red chili Ooops, I made a mistake in the video, the chilli used for garnish is actually the big red chilli (Tabya Lombok) not the bird’s eye chilli.
